Michael Levine of the Suffolk men’s hockey team has been named Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Goalie of the Week for the second time this season, and women’s basketball guard Jenni-Rose DiCecco got her Rams career off to a fast start by being named Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Corvias Rookie of the Week.

DiCecco, a 5-6 freshman, averaged 14 points, 4.7 assists, and 3.3 rebounds per game in leading the Rams to a 2-1 record.

In the season opening game at Salve Regina, DiCecco ignited the Suffolk offense with a 21-point effort, and her leadership was key as the team captured the Roadrunner Tip-Off Tournament title in New Jersey.

Levine led the Rams to a pair of victories over Western New England over a seven-day stretch, compiling 73 saves while allowing 0.50 goals per game.

It was the first time that Suffolk swept the regular season series with the Golden Bears since the 2015-16 campaign.
