The Great Northeast Athletic Conference has released its 2015 Academic All-Conference team, and 47 Rams student-athletes were among those recognized for their accomplishments in the classroom. See the full list of Rams achievers (PDF).
To be eligible a student-athlete must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher during the 2014-15 academic year, must be at least a sophomore, and must have competed in at least one full season of a GNAC-sponsored sport.
The 185 student-athletes enrolled in classes during the spring semester averaged a 3.173 grade-point average, with 10 maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA for the semester.
Following the spring semester, the Athletics Department released its Athletics Director’s Honor Roll of 116 student-athletes. To be eligible a student must achieve a 3.0 grade-point average or higher for the semester, be enrolled in a full-time class load, and not receive an incomplete grade or withdraw from a class.
Earlier this year the hockey team placed a total of 10 players on the ECAC Northeast Academic team. To be eligible, a student-athlete must have a minimum of 30 credits and maintain a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
