Alumnus Jonny Orsini continues to land roles on the New York stage, and his debut Broadway performance in The Nance, starring Nathan Lane, will be televised Oct. 10.

Live from Lincoln Center will air the Broadway production of The Nance on PBS stations, with WGBH Boston, Channel 2, showing the performance at 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10, and WGBX, Channel 44, airing it at 2 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 11.

Orsini went from The Nance to Lincoln Center Theater's staging of Macbeth, and he has been cast in Fish in the Dark, a new play by Curb You Enthusiasm’s Larry David, which opens in March and is billed as "a comedy about a death in the family."

Before The Nance, Orsini appeared off-Broadway in David Rabe’s An Early History of Fire and in the films Girl Most Likely, Eddie and Paul, Beneath, Generation Um… and Cigarette Candy.

This preview of The Nance broadcast shows Orsini on stage as Nathan Lane's love interest.
