The Rappaport Center for Law and Public Service and the Anti-Defamation League New England Region will present a panel discussion on the Impact of Hate Speech on College Campuses from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2011, at Suffolk University Law School, 120 Tremont St., Boston.
Panelists will define hate speech and analyze when hate speech becomes harassment. They also will consider whether there are circumstances in which hate speech on a college campus should be restricted and whether hate codes are effective and/or constitutional.
