We hope all is well with you. The Summer 2013 newsletter is officially published, and we are very eager to share it with you.

This special edition honors and celebrates the work of Professor Judy Dushku who, after 47 years at Suffolk has decided to retire. Without a doubt, Judy's presence in the department for this many years has been remarkable. Judy's long career at Suffolk spanned 9 presidential administrations and many regime changes across the globe. Judy brought students to all four corners of the earth, guiding them to not only talk about politics, but to observe it with their own eyes and see for themselves the impact of policy on people's lives. Her student-centered approach nourished and inspired students and sparked many a career in public service. Students routinely mention her when contacted years after graduating from the university. If you have any special memories of Judy that you would like to share, I would be delighted to hear them.

Please let us know how you are and stay in touch.

All the best,
Rachael Cobb
