The fields of mental health, human services, and crime and justice are all increasingly interdependent. Our multifaceted approach enables you to better serve populations in need and treat issues holistically, whether you choose to work in the private or public sector.
In your counseling courses, you will learn to assess, diagnose, and treat individuals and groups with various mental health issues. Your crime and justice courses will allow you to explore the causes, contexts, and policies that can lead to or exacerbate mental illness.
This dual-degree program—which you may pursue full- or part-time—will help you qualify for Massachusetts licensure.
