There’s no substitute for experience, especially when it comes to global business.

That’s why we offer Global Travel Seminars—a practical, hands-on learning experience that helps you build your resume and extend your network internationally.

Registration for the spring seminars opens on November 1 for both undergraduate and graduate students. You can choose from various destinations, such as China, Germany, and Italy.

What to Expect

You’ll get an inside look at how businesses operate abroad. You’ll spend 7-10 days visiting companies likeTaobao, Embraer, BMW, Lloyd’s of London, Zambon, and Pepsi, and you’ll network with high-level executives.

Immersed in a new culture, you’ll also learn how to interact and communicate with people who come from different backgrounds.

Many of our students have made lasting connections during their seminars, and some have even led to full-time positions after graduation.

Past Students Give Rave Reviews

“All the theories and concepts we learned in the classroom really came to life on the London seminar. We visited many major companies, including HSBC, Lloyd, and Fidelity. And the best part? We had real, face-to-face discussions with the people who work there. And those connections have opened the door to potential career opportunities at the company.” — Jingfei Shu, MSFSB ’13

“The Global Travel Seminar to Germany was one of the most enriching experiences I’ve ever had. We traveled to Munich and Berlin, where we worked on real case studies for several global businesses, including Audi, Bayer, Lufthansa, and Cisco. Working alongside powerful executives and learning how the do business abroad profoundly affected both my personal and professional development. I recommend it to all students.” — Luca Cardillo, MBA ’13.
